“Waiting for the Dog” (2025) is a unique piece in the series threading together a celebration of the common wildlife found and a personal story of Kirsten K’s bearded collie having a friendship with the squirrels in her yard. The games of hide and seek and tag are daily occurrences. They wait patiently for one another, knowing that it is all about the chase and journey – never the destination. This observation proves to be valuable as a reminder to take time to play and for relationships.
